Asterix – Pop Art Painting on Recycled Wood | Vincent Streiff

This Pop Art painting celebrates Asterix, the famous Gaulish hero of French comics. Vincent Streiff builds the piece from recycled pallet boards, layering acrylic paint, spray paint, stickers and authentic excerpts from the "Asterix and Obelix" comic books, creating a collage that evokes the iconic adventures of the Gaulish duo.

The raw texture of the reclaimed wood contrasts with the bright colours of Pop Art, offering a contemporary, joyful reinterpretation of one of the most popular characters in French culture.
