Captain Harlock (Albator) – Pop Art Painting on Recycled Wood | Vincent Streiff

A unique piece numbered 1/1, this Pop Art painting pays tribute to Captain Harlock (Albator), the cult space pirate of Japanese animation. Vincent Streiff hand-shapes each piece from recycled pallet boards, cut and assembled to form a raw base with pronounced relief. Ban, the Great Harlock, Kei Yuki, Machi… the series' iconic figures come to life through a mix of comic book collage, acrylic paint, marker and spray paint, all protected by a matte varnish finish.

Each painting is a unique, signed piece, designed to give wood a second life while celebrating pop culture and the manga universe.
