Pink Panther – Pop Art Painting on Recycled Wood | Vincent Streiff

This original, one-of-a-kind artwork by French artist Vincent Streiff (VincePopArt) is a wall-mounted relief painting made from pieces of recycled pallet wood, hand-assembled to form a textured, sculptural surface. At the heart of the composition sits the Pink Panther, a pop culture icon from the 1960s, reinterpreted in a vivid, colourful and resolutely contemporary street art style.

The artist incorporates comic fragments, stickers and splashes of acrylic paint to create an effect of movement and depth typical of his universe. The bright colours (pink, blue, green, yellow) and black outlines assert the playful, nostalgic character of the piece, while the varied textures — raw wood, paper, paint — bring a tactile dimension rarely found in traditional painting.

A symbol of mischief and humour, the Pink Panther seems to spring out of the wood assembly. Beyond the pop culture wink, the artwork carries a firm eco-responsible approach: every piece of wood comes from reclaimed materials, given a second life by the artist.
